We stayed at the beautiful Sinae Phuket hotel during our stay in Thailand. The hotel is quite newly build and the facilities have an incredible sea views.

We booked a studio villa with our own infinity pool looking over to the sea. The room was very nice and the pool was quite large with an incredible sea view. The amazing view is a truly the star of this place.
The hotel is build to a very steep hillside which makes walking up and down from the room to down at the restaurant quite a journey. Therefore, the hotel does have buggies that take you up and down the hillside.

All the facilities at the hotel were quite nice. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of options from western and asian cuisine. They had an egg station where you could get freshly made omelet, plenty of pastries and fresh fruits to choose from and a selection of cooked food items.

The hotel also has an incredible sea view cafe at the top of the hill that serves Starbucks coffee and some food and pastries. We went up to the bar twice, once around sunset and the other time during the day. The view was incredible both times with the sun setting and dusk starting to rise and then seeing all the blue colors of the water and the sky during the day time.

The hotel also has functional but small fitness room where we did some slight training. The fitness room had a spinning bike with Les Mills on demand training where I did a spinning class with an instructor. This is the first time I used these kinds of “spinning at home” bikes and the training was quite good with plenty of spinning class options.
In the hotel spa, we went for a relaxing couples massages. The spa had a calm atmosphere with the incredible sea view. The massage was relaxing, although at times a bit too heavy handed for my taste. I thought it was really special that we could do our treatments at the same time side by side.

Lastly, I have to mention some negatives we experienced during our stay. Firstly, the location of the hotel is less than ideal. It is very far from anything. If you want to go to the beach, you need to take a 50 min taxi drive to the other side of Phuket. If you want to walk around shops, restaurants, groceries or anything, you need to take a taxi for at least 30 min. Therefore, having a scooter would be ideal if you a staying at Sinae.
